Women's Soccer Drops Season Finale Match To #18 Cedarville

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio Dominican women's soccer team hosted #18 Cedarville University on Tuesday evening, falling to the Yellow Jackets 1-0 in their regular season finale.

Cedarville opened the second half with a quick goal from Mary Kate Wyer, giving the Yellow Jackets a 1-0 lead in the 6th minute.

ODU keeper Kaitlin Grady (Twinsburg, Ohi0) collected back-to-back saves in the 13th minute. In the 21st minute, freshman forward Nyah Daniels (Norwalk, Ohio) registered the first shot for the Black and Gold, missing wide.

Grady collected two more saves before the break, leaving the match 1-0 at the half.

The second half begin with consecutive shots from Celia Scott (Beavercreek, Ohio) and Devin Schoenberger (Redondo Beach, Cali.), resulting in a save for the CU keeper.

Grady collected three more saves in the second half. Ohio Dominican had no response on the offensive end and lost the match 1-0.

The Black and Gold end their season with an overall record of 5-8-4 and conference record of 5-6-3.
