Panthers Welcome Lake Erie And Ashland To Sunbury Road

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio Dominican women's soccer team continues their homestead welcoming Lake Erie on Thursday, Sept. 22, and Malone on Saturday.

The Panthers went 0-1-1 last week tying with Malone (1-1) at home on Wednesday and losing on the road to Northwood, 5-2 on Saturday.

Freshman Nyah Daniels (Norwalk, Ohio) connected with Callan Myers (Hillsboro, Ohio) late in the match to tie it up at 1-all.

At Northwood, Emily Wittekind (Cincinnati, Ohio) combined with Avery Rice (Lima, Ohio) to put the Black and Gold on the board before the break. Senior Morgan Kirk (Findlay, Ohio) opened up the second half pairing with Makenna Greer (Pickerington, Ohio) to cut the Timberwolves' lead to 5-2.

About Lake Erie

The Storm and the Panthers competed two weeks ago where ODU came out on top 2-1. Lake Erie sits at 1-4-1 overall and 0-3 in the conference. Jillian Newlan leads the team with three goals on the season.

About Ashland

The Eagles are 5-3 overall with a 3-1 mark in conference play. Bailey Clark leads with four goals and McKinley Mendenhall leads with six assists.

Kickoff is set for 7:30 PM on Thursday and 8 PM on Saturday.
