Women's Golf Finishes Twelfth at the UD Fall Invitational

KETTERING, Ohio – Ohio Dominican's women's golf team finished 12th at the UD Fall Invitational played Monday and Tuesday at the NCR Country Club North Course shooting rounds of 334 and 326.

On day two, the Panther women were led by senior Bailey Krueger (Canal Winchester, Ohio) who shot 78 after shooting 84 in round one.

Fellow seniors Abby Swensen (Milford, Ohio) and Emma Romine (Marysville, Ohio) shot rounds of 81 and 82, respectively. In round one, Swensen shot 82 while Romine posted an 86.

Sophomore Natalie Parker (Ostrander, Ohio) and freshman Alyssa Newsom (Granville, Ohio) each shot 85 in round two. Parker shot 82 in round one while Newsome shot 89 yesterday.

Senior Tori Jones (Ashland, Ohio) played as an individual and posted an 85 on day two after shooting 86 in round one.

Butler won the event shooting 605 (300-305) with Sofia Seldemirova earning medalist honors shooting 74 in round one followed by a 69 in round two.

The Panthers finish their fall schedule this Friday and Saturday when they participate in the Davenport Fall Invitational at the Gulf Lake View Golf Club and Resort in Augusta, Michigan.
