Panthers Close Out November With Two Non-Conference Match-Ups

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Before conference play begins at the start of December, the Ohio Dominican women's basketball team closes out the month of November with two non-conference games.

The Black and Gold will host Maryville (Mo.) on Monday (Nov. 21) and travel to Indiana (Pa.) on Thanksgiving Eve (Nov. 23).

Opening Tip-Off

  • Junior Gabby Stare (Newark, Ohio) grabbed a season-high 31 points in the win over West Liberty on Wednesday evening (Nov. 16) going 9-19 from the field and 13-15 from the charity stripe. Stare added 16 points at Saginaw Valley on Saturday.
  • Guard Trinity Ramos (Reynoldsburg, Ohio) led the way against the Cardinals with 17 points. Ramos is shooting 72.7 percent on the season, ranking first in the conference and sixth nationally.
  • At SVSU, junior Camryn Pickerill (Seamen, Ohio) collected a career-high eight steals, accounting for 66 percent of the team's steals. Pickerill snagged seven boards against the Hilltoppers.
  • Freshman Madelyn Fearon (Greenville, Ohio) and Macy Chapman (Hilliard, Ohio) combined for 36 points in the past two games. Fearon remains perfect from the free-throw line. Chapman tallied a team-high of four assists against the Cardinals.

About Maryville (Mo.)

  • The Saints are 2-1 on the season under newly appointed head coach Brita Hand.
  • Three different players for Maryville average double-figure points. Leading the way is Antoinette Mussorici with 16.0 ppg.
  • Forward Taylor Kirby averages 8.3 rebounds per game with a total of 25 on the season thus far.

About Indiana (Pa.)

  • The Hawks are also under new leadership with interim head coach Craig Carey.
  • IUP is 3-0 so far and has outscored their opponents 238-114 while shooting 45.3 percent from the field and 74.3 percent from the charity stripe.

Tip-off is set for 6:00 pm inside Alumni Hall on Monday against the Saints and for 5:30 pm on Saturday from Indiana, Penn.
