Great Midwest Releases Women's Basketball 22-Game Schedule

INDIANAPOLIS – The Ohio Dominican women's basketball team released its schedule for the upcoming 2020-21 season.

The Panthers return to the court following a 17-12 campaign in 2019-20, which featured a 12-6 record in Great Midwest Athletic Conference play. Under the watchful eye of head coach Lynsey Warren, the Black and Gold compiled its fifth consecutive 15-win season, and fifth straight postseason tournament appearance.

ODU begins its campaign when it opens against Cedarville University on December 3. The Panthers hit the road for the only time in December when they travel to Tiffin University on Saturday, December 5.

The Black and Gold return home on December 12 against Hillsdale College and will not leave for the remainder of the 2020 calendar year. In addition to Hillsdale, ODU welcomes the University of Findlay (12/10), Kentucky Wesleyan (12/17), and Trevecca Nazarene (12/19) to Sunbury Road to close out 2020.

With the calendar freshly flipped to 2021, the Panther immediately jump into action as they travel to Painesville, Ohio, to take on Lake Erie College on January 2. ODU stays on the road for its next two games against Ohio Valley (1/7) and Ursuline College (1/9).

The Black and Gold begin their 2021 home slate by welcoming Malone University and Walsh University to Alumni Hall on January 14 and 16. The Panthers finish the month of January with three of four contests on the road.

February opens with the Panthers on the road at Trevecca Nazarene (2/4) and Kentucky Wesleyan (2/6). ODU returns for its final homestand of the regular season, which begins on February 10 against Ursuline College. The Black and Gold close out the remainder of the home schedule against Ohio Valley (2/13) and Lake Erie (2/20).

ODU's regular season closes the season with trips to Northeast Ohio against Walsh (2/25) and Malone (2/27).

The 2020-21 Women's Basketball schedule is a 12-team round-robin 22-game schedule. Each conference member plays each other twice. The top eight programs, based on points accumulated and the tournament selection formula will advance to the conference tournament.

Following the conference tournaments, the NCAA regionals will take place from March 12-15, 2021.
