Basketball Teams Think Pink to Raise Money, Awareness for Breast Cancer

Play4Kay Donations

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio Dominican's men's and women's basketball teams will host their annual Pink Day on Saturday, Feb. 9 in conjunction with their GLIAC doubleheader against Hillsdale.

The teams are raising money for the Kay Yow Cancer Fund to raise breast cancer awareness and funds for research on the court, across campuses, in communities and beyond. Since its inception in 2007, the Play 4Kay initiative has raised over $2 million to support women's cancer research.

The teams will raffle off a pair of signed basketballs as well as ODU basketball gear. Raffle tickets can be purchased in the lobby near the concession stand, while monetary donations (non-raffle entry) can also be submitted online at www.play4kay.org/ohiodominican.

The men's game tips off at 1 p.m., followed by the women's contest at 3.
