COLUMBUS, Ohio – Women's basketball players Meredith Fox (Springboro, Ohio) and Abby Glover (Centerville, Ohio) and men's basketball player Aaron Gibbs (Oberlin, Ohio) were selected to play in the 4th Annual Jump25.com/Ohio College Basketball All-Star Classic, which takes place Saturday, April 14 in Alumni Hall.
The women's game will begin at 1:30 p.m., while the men's game will be played at 5.
Fox (10.4 points per game) and Glover (10.3) were the top two scorers for the Panthers this season. Glover was the third-leading rebounder in the GLIAC at 9.1 boards per game and fourth in minutes played (34.8). She scored in double figures 14 times this season, including a season-high 21 points in a 69-63 win over Ursuline, and had six double-doubles, hauling down 14 rebounds on a pair of occasions.
Fox finished ninth in the conference in assists per game (3.5) and like Glover had 14 double-figure scoring contests. She had a career-high 27 points in the Ursuline victory, hitting 10-of-15 shots and finished with a career-best eight assists in the 76-58 win over Grand Valley State. Fox had five or more rebounds in 11 games and five or more assists in eight games.
Gibbs wrapped up his career with 1,023 points, surpassing the 1,000 point mark in ODU's contest at Notre Dame in the final week of the season. He averaged 10.3 points and a team-high 6.5 rebounds per game this season, scoring in double figures 14 times and pulling down 10 or more rebounds three times. He scored 22 points in back-to-back games against Salem International and Ashland midway through the season.
