YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - In the third meet of the season, the Ohio Dominican Panthers indoor track and field team continued to find their strides as they competed at Youngstown State in a competitive field. 

The Panthers saw two school records and 13 personal records fall in the meet held on Friday (Jan. 20) at the Watson and Tressel Training Site. 

WOMEN

Brooke Armbrust (Grove City, Ohio) set her second school record of the season as she broke the 200 meter record of 25.90 seconds with a time of 25.82 seconds, finishing in 13th place. In the long jump, she topped out at 5.18 meters for an 18th place finish. 

Molly Van Horn (Granville, Ohio) ran a 60 meter 7.96 second qualifying time, the 2nd fastest in order to advance to the preliminaries. In the prelims, she ran a personal best 7.90 second run to finish 15th. Van Horn was 23rd in the 200 meter run, running a 26.24 second time. 

G'nae Morrison (San Antonio, Texas) set a season-best with an 8.10 second 60 meter qualifying time, slotting 11th in qualifying. 

Kassydee Owens (Harlan, Kentucky) clocked in at 28.81 seconds in 200 meters, and 1:04.61 in the 400 meters, both personal bests. 

Grace Pitt ran her first 400 meter race, crossing the line in 1:11.84 for a personal record. 

MEN

Ismael Obas (Columbus, Ohio) set a personal best and the ODU record for long jump at 6.90 meters, finishing eighth in his debut. 

Owen Wilhelm (Sunbury, Ohio) was fourth in the high jump, hitting a 1.80 meter mark. 

Eugene Boahen was eighth in the 60 meter prelims at 6.93, earning a spot in the finals. He bettered his prelim time to 6.91, ending the event in sixth. He added a seventh place finish in the 200 meter dash with a 22.27 second run. 

Aly Diaby set a personal record in the 200 meters, going sub-23 with a 22.96 second run. Jaivien Steele (Cleveland, Ohio) followed with a 23.96 time, also a personal best. 

In the 400 meters, the Panthers added two personal best times. Diaby was 20th overall, stopping the watch at 51.30 seconds. Steele reached a PR at 54.63 seconds. Ben Seely (Chesterton, Indiana) added his own best mark of 56.91 seconds. 

Junior Jacob Krous (Galena, Ohio) gained two seconds on last week's personal best in the mile, ending the race in 4:36.01. 

Merrick Shorter (Dublin, Ohio) and Ethan Sinning (Tipp City, Ohio) both set PR's in the 3k race, running with times of 9:18.33 and 9:19.15, respectively. 

The Panthers will compete in Springfield next on Saturday, January 28th at Wittenberg.
