Track and Field Concludes Indoor Season At G-MAC Track And Field Championship

TIFFIN, Ohio – The Great Midwest Athletic Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships continued Saturday inside the Heminger Center on the campus of Tiffin University.

Draven Bass (Circleville, Ohio) earned four points for the Panthers by virtue of his fifth-place finish in the 800-meters. Bass finished the event with a time of 1:57.62

Two ODU competitors enjoyed success in the 3000m. Caleb Belmont (Carroll, Ohio) finished the race in 13th place overall with a time of 9:00.96. Alex Serna (Duncanville, Texas) finished second in his section and 20th overall with a time of 9:26.20.

Jarrett Lynch and Alex Botello (Hilliard, Ohio) finished sixth and seventh place respectively in the pole vault. Lynch claimed sixth place clearing 4.26m, a new personal best. Botello finished in seventh place clearing 4.11m.

Megan Tamasovich (Canal Winchester, Ohio) finished in fifth place in the high jump, clearing 1.64 meters.

Emma Lutz (Celina, Ohio) finished in 18th place in the mile with a time of 5:52.61 and Ashley Wihl (Williamsport, Ohio) finished fifth place in her section and 25th overall with a time of 6:16.81.

The ODU men finish the meet in eighth place, while the women's finish in ninth position.
