COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio Dominican softball's Friends of Jaclyn Day on Sunday, April 2 raised over $2,400 in proceeds for the Friends of Jaclyn Foundation, a non-profit charitable organization that improves the quality of life for children with pediatric brain tumors and their families.
In conjunction with doubleheader contests against Northwood on Sunday, ODU celebrated its Eighth Annual Friends of Jaclyn Day in which proceeds from a silent auction, concessions and private donations raised over $2,400 for the organization. The squad has supported the foundation since 2010, when Reagyn Semler was adopted as an honorary team member. Reagyn was honored prior to Sunday's games by throwing at the ceremonial first pitch with her family.
