COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio Dominican's men's soccer team continues Great Midwest Athletic Conference play hosting Walsh and Malone this week.
The contest with Walsh is set for Thursday evening at 5 p.m. with Malone also starting at 5 p.m. inside Panther Stadium.

The Panthers come into the week with a 3-9-1 overall record and are on the outside looking in for a spot in the G-MAC postseason tournament sitting at 1-7-1 in the conference.
The Panthers won a high scoring affair in their final non-conference game of the year winning 5-3 against Salem International before dropping a 4-0 contest at No. 6 Lake Erie Sunday.
The offense continues to be led by junior Jaxson Szabo (Worthington, Ohio) as he has eight goals so far where he has converted on all four of his penalty kick opportunities. Freshman Khalif Hassan (Columbus, Ohio) has also provided a spark for the Panthers scoring five times with one assist on just 14 shots on goal for a shooting percentage of .700. Junior River Allbaugh (Pickerington, Ohio) has set up other goal scorers for the Panthers notching four assist along with his four goals so far on the season.
Freshman goalkeeper Russell Montemarano (Westerville, Ohio) has stepped in between the posts for the Panthers where he has made 11 saves in the two games.
The Cavaliers come into the week with an 8-3-2 overall record and are 4-3-2 in the G-MAC after a 2-2 tie with Kentucky Wesleyan and a 4-0 win over Trevecca last week.
Walsh is scoring 2.31 goals per contest led by Dwight Van dyke with seven goals and an assist so far on the season. They also have Myles Cornwall offensively who has scored six goals while notching six assists as well. His 18 points is tied for fourth overall in the conference.
Walsh is allowing 1.39 goals per game defensively. Goalkeeper Ethan Burawa has played in 11 games making starts in each contest where he has allowed 17 goals while making 57 saves. Brett Ekperuoh has played the last two contests for the Cavaliers making 12 saves while allowing two goals.
A year ago, the Cavaliers and Panthers split the season series each winning on the others home field. At Walsh, the Panthers won 3-0 and at home, the Cavs bested ODU 2-1.
Malone enters the week with a 4-5-2 overall record and are 3-5-1 in conference play after two wins last week beating Trevecca 3-1 and Kentucky Wesleyan 4-0.
The Pioneers host Cedarville before making the trip to Columbus on Saturday.
Malone is averaging 1.18 goals per contest led by Nathan McFeaters with nine goals so far which is tied for second in the conference.
Defensively, the Pioneers also have a pair of goalkeepers that are sharing time. Alexandre Durand has played and started eight games where he has made 32 saves allowing eight goals while Nick Wilhelm has played and started three games making 17 saves while allowing two goals.
In the lone contest with the Pioneers a year ago, ODU defeated the Pioneers 2-0.
