COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio Dominican men's and women's golf teams announced their schedules for the upcoming spring season on Friday afternoon. Head Coach Chris Deibel and the Panthers will travel to eight events this spring, with the Black and Gold making a trip as far south as North Carolina to compete.
The season begins on March 15 and 16 as both the men's and women's teams battle at the Ralph Hargett Invitational hosted by Wingate University. Both teams will compete in two rounds, spanning over two days. The event will occur at Stonebridge Golf Course and Rolling Hills Country Club, both located in Monroe, North Carolina.
The Black and Gold women head to Lexington, Kentucky where they will compete in the Findlay Spring Invitational on March 22 and 23. The event will be played at the University Club of Kentucky and the Big Blue course will be utilized for competition. Just a week later the ODU men will compete in the second portion of the Findlay Spring Invitational when they tee-off on March 30 and 31.
April begins with some home cooking as the Panthers return to Central Ohio for some friendly competition. The Black and Gold women compete in the NC4K Classic at Jefferson Golf and Country Club in Blacklick, Ohio. This event marks the first time ODU has competed at Jefferson this season.
The Panther men head back to Cumberland Trail Golf Club where they will battle in the Bill Blazer Memorial on April 9 and 10.
The spring season concludes as the Great Midwest Athletic Conference Women's Golf Championship gets underway from Lexington, as the Panthers will once again compete on the Big Blue course at the University Club of Kentucky. The G-MAC Men's Golf Championship tees-off following the women's competition on April 19 and 20.
