INDIANAPOLIS – Junior Robert Holden (Letchworth Garden City, Hertfordshire, England) of Ohio Dominican men's golf earned Great Midwest Athletic Conference Player of the Week accolades for his achievements this past week of competition. This marks his second time in his career in which he has captured this award.
The third-year player earned medalist honors at the Cedarville Invitational on Monday shooting consecutive 71's (-1) during the tournament. Holden helped power the Panthers to their third-lowest score 36-hole aggregate score (588) in program history.
He and the Panthers shot a combined team score of 297 and 291 to seal the victory in Cedarville. ODU returns to action next Monday when they travel to Shawnee State to compete in the Roger Merb Invitational.
