TIFFIN, Ohio – Following an eventful first day at the Mohawk Golf and Country Club in Tiffin, Ohio, the Ohio Dominican men's golf team returned to action on Tuesday to complete the second and third rounds of the Kyle Ryman Memorial.

ODU was one of the teams that experienced a longer than expected second day of the tournament as Monday's second round ended prematurely due to darkness. A lengthy fog delay early Monday morning proved to be the culprit. This required some players in the field to finish their second round prior to beginning the final round.

The University of Findlay claimed the team championship finishing -19 for all-three rounds. The University of Indianapolis finished in second place with a score of +3 and fellow Great Midwest Athletic Conference member Hillsdale College claimed third. ODU collected a 10th place finish.

Junior Ben Herman (Germantown, Ohio) was the leader for the Panthers during the second day of competition. He shot a third-round 75 after collecting an 81 and 76 during the first day of the tournament. Herman also tied for sixth in the tournament with 33 par saves.

Four Panthers finished behind Herman in the third round, all scoring a 79. Junior Robert Holden (Letchworth Garden City, Hertfordshire, England), Dalton Crowley (Nashport, Ohio), Sophomore Mack Cushman (Mechanicsburg, Ohio), and freshman Alex Gomia (Monroe, Ohio) all earned the score following the third-round.

Holden finished the day tied for seventh in Par-3 scoring, shooting +3 (3.25). He also finished tied for fourth place in pars with 35 for the tournament. Crowley finished Tuesday tied for fifth place in the tournament in birdies with 10 and also collected one of the tournaments five eagles. Both players finished the event tied for 31st position.

Cushman finished the day tied for second place in pars with 37 for the tournament. The second-year golfer finished the tournament with four birdies. Gomia finished the tournament with eight birdies and 28 pars.

ODU returns to action on Monday, October 12, participating in two events. The Panthers will be participating in two events, competing in the Cedarville Invitational in Beavercreek, Ohio and the Lourdes Fall Invite in Sylvania, Ohio.
