COLUMBUS, Ohio -- The Ohio Dominican men's basketball team continues GLIAC South Division play with matchups against Walsh and Malone this weekend. The Panthers play host to the Cavaliers at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday before travelling to Stark County for a 3 p.m. Saturday game.

Ohio Dominican will look to get back in the win column against Walsh (11-10) on Thursday at Alumni Hall after two straight GLIAC losses at the hands of Findlay and Wayne State.

Earlier this season, the Panthers dropped their matchup against Walsh, 87-78 on Jan. 21 in North Canton. Cavaliers senior Jesse Hardin Jr. dropped 35 points in the game, marking the most points an opposing player has scored against Ohio Dominican this season. Sophomore Ronnie Williams (Columbus, Ohio) led the Panthers in the game with 26 points, including six three-point field goals.

The Panthers scored a 91-69 win in their first meeting with Malone this year, with senior Chad Nelson (Columbus, Ohio) scoring 29 points to lead all scorers.

Ohio Dominican is looking for a victory after dropping two-straight games and four of its last five.

Despite the skid, the Panthers have won five of their last six games at Alumni Hall. Walsh has won two of its last three games, averaging 88 points per game in that span.

Senior Trent Weaver (Columbus, Ohio) continues to lead the team in scoring with 15.8 points per game. He's scored in double figures in 12 straight games. Williams has four straight games of 10 or more points, including two games with 20 or more.
