KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Rising senior Jordan Cowgill (Worthington, Ohio) was honored by the National Association of Basketball Coaches as a member of the 2014-15 NABC Honors Court, recognizing men's college basketball student-athletes who excelled in academics last year.
To be eligible, student-athletes must maintain a 3.2 GPA or higher, academically a junior or senior, and spent at least one year at their current institution.
Cowgill, an Education and History major, is a two-time GLIAC All-Academic selection. On the court, he's appeared in 71 games in his career where he is shooting 52.6 percent from the floor. Last year, Cowgill averaged 9.6 minutes per game and made a pair of starts as well.
