BAY CITY, Mich. – Senior point guard Morgan Jones (Oberlin, Ohio) was named the GLIAC South Division Men's Basketball Player of the Week. Jones joins fellow teammate freshman Mark Minch (West Chester, Ohio) to receive the honors.

Jones averaged 17.3 points per game and while dishing out 15 assists, seven steals in 101 minutes of play last week. Against D-I Wisconsin Milwaukee, Jones tied a career high in both points (24) and assists (8). He added three rebounds and steals in the game. He scored a combined 21 points against LSSU and Northwood, while posting seven assists, six rebounds, and four steals in the two games. Jones currently leads all Panthers in points per game with 17.4, and ranks tied for third in the GLIAC in 3-pointers made (18-45).
