BAY CITY, Mich. – Ohio Dominican senior point guard Morgan Jones (Oberlin, Ohio) was named to the GLIAC Men's Basketball Preseason South Division Second Team as part of the conference's annual media day.

The Panthers were projected to finish eighth in the South Division standings, garnering 45 points in the preseason poll. Findlay, the 2011-12 conference runner-up, was predicted to win the South Division, while Michigan Tech was projected to claim the North Division.

Jones started in 24 games for the Panthers in his junior season, averaging 12.7 points, 3.6 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game. He recorded 20+ points in four games in the 2011-12 season with his best game coming on December 30 against Mercy where he scored 23 points and grabbed 10 boards.

ODU returns six letterwinners and one starter in Jones from last year's squad.
