Panther Pride: Top 10 Moments From 2015-16 (#7)

The 2015-16 athletic year was filled with highlights for Ohio Dominican student-athletes. OhioDominicanPanthers.com will be counting down the top moments from last year over the next two weeks.

No. 10 – Carroll Earns All-GLIAC Honors (June 27)
No. 9 – Ellison Earns Second NCAA Regional Bid (June 28)
No. 8 - Men's Basketball Knocks Off #13 Lake Superior (June 29)

No. 7 – Football Sets Records In Win At Quincy

Playing its third straight game on the road in the middle of October had no ill effects on the football team.

The Panthers travelled to Quincy and had a record-shattering performance in delivering a 73-28 victory over the Hawks. ODU set a new mark in most points scored in a game and Darryl Johnson (Mason, Ohio) set a new record in most rushing touchdowns (five) and total touchdowns (six) in a game.

O'Sha Jackson (Warren, Ohio) tied a school record with three picks and Dez Stewart (Cincinnati, Ohio) established ODU's career receiving yards record in that contest as well.

The Panthers scored on their first nine possessions and punted just once in the game. The 73 points were the sixth-most scored by a Division II team last season.
