Culbertson Becomes Third Panther Invited To NFL Camp, Joins Eagles

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Cody Culbertson (Galloway, Ohio) will participate in the Philadelphia Eagles rookie mini camp from May 13-15, joining fellow Ohio Dominican football players Dez Stewart (Cincinnati, Ohio) and Brent Wahle (Pataskala, Ohio) earning invites to NFL camps.

Culbertson split time between safety and linebacker in his ODU career, racking up 226 tackles (23.0 TFL) with 7.0 sacks. He also made four interceptions and forced four fumbles in his career while breaking up 20 passes.

He earned First Team All-GLIAC honors in 2013 after making 73 tackles (11.5 TFL) and also picked up all-region honors as well. He was named the GLIAC Defensive Player of the Week after a win over Grand Valley that season.

Culbertson earned Honorable Mention All-GLIAC laurels in 2014 as well.

On Saturday, Stewart was picked up by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as a priority free agent, while Wahle joined the Browns on Sunday.
