The Panthers were led offensively by Brennen Hunt (Ashland, Ohio) and Joey Machuga (Canfield, Ohio) with each player going 2-for-3 in the contest. Both players collected doubles, with Hunt reaching second base twice during the opening game of the doubleheader.
Lindenwood added two runs on sacrifice flies in the seventh inning to claim a 9-0 victory.

The Lions did most of their damage in the second inning as Calvin Nowak scored on a wild pitch and Sam Kissane and Maclaine McCarter reached home following an error by the Panthers outfield.
Three ODU players reached base but Lions pitcher Jacob Thompson kept the visitors in check striking out six batters in his seven innings to preserve the 4-0 victory in game two.
