Baseball Drops 5-0 Decision To Cal (Pa.)

WILSON, N.C. – Ohio Dominican's baseball team dropped its second straight game on its Spring Break trip, falling 5-0 to Cal (Pa.) on Saturday.

Freshman Manny Vorhees (Wapakoneta, Ohio) had two hits, including a double, but ODU's offense managed just four total on the day.

Sophomore Ben Speer (Mason, Ohio) made his first collegiate start and allowed four runs, all unearned, in 4.0 innings. Sophomore Tim Zeller (Mount Vernon, Ohio) tossed 2.1 scoreless innings of relief, punching out four.

Ohio Dominican will take on Kutztown at 5 p.m. Sunday.
