INDIANAPOLIS – Ohio Dominican University placed 149 student-athletes on the Great Midwest Athletic Conference's All-Academic Team for the 2020-21 year, which was announced Thursday, July 15.
To be named to the G-MAC All-Academic team, the student-athlete must have a minimum of a 3.30 cumulative grade-point average on the 4.00 scaling system. Overall, 2,227 total athletes from the G-MAC's 12 full member and five associate member institutions were recognized. A total of 132 student-athletes registered a 4.0 GPA, including 10 from Ohio Dominican.
ODU's 149 student-athletes receiving All-Academic honors are the second most in the athletic department's now four-year membership in the G-MAC, just five shy of the department's best mark of 154 set in 2019-20. Of the Panther honorees, 26 come from the women's soccer team, the most of any Panther program. Both baseball and football had 20 recipients to tie for the most selections on the men's side.
