COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio Dominican's women's golf team tees off the 2017 fall season at the Michael Corbett Fall Classic on Sunday.
The tournament will span Sunday, September 10 and Monday, September 11 at the Lake Shore Country Club in Erie, Pennsylvania, as ODU opens the season at the Michael Corbett Fall Classic for the second-straight year.
In 2016, the Panthers finished fourth out of 17 competing teams at the tournament. Sophomore Emma Romine (Marysville, Ohio) finished 16th with a 159 (81-78) to lead ODU and returns this season with the lowest career average round score for the Panthers. Junior Kaylin Dill (Sedalia, Ohio) finished in a tie for 26th out of 93 competitors with a career-low tournament score of 164 (81-83) a year ago at the tournament and lowered her career average by nearly two strokes after a strong 2016-17 campaign.
Following competition at the Michael Corbett Fall Classic this weekend, the Panthers will take to the course at Findlay Country Club for the Great Midwest Fall Championship on Monday, September 18 and Tuesday, September 19.
